This is a recent picture of an idol drifted by the flood
God - be glorified - said in the Quran 7: 192
The explanation:
(Do they associate [the idols of thier kings] that create nothing, and themselves being created!?
Moreover, they cannot give them help, nor even can they help their own souls.)

So if it cannot help itself, how can it help others?
Moreover, God said in the Quran 22: 73
{يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلٌ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَن يَخْلُقُوا ذُبَابًا وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعُوا لَهُ وَإِن يَسْلُبْهُمُ الذُّبَابُ شَيْئًا لَّا يَسْتَنقِذُوهُ مِنْهُ ضَعُفَ الطَّالِبُ وَالْمَطْلُوبُ}
The explanation:
(Opeople, a parable has been set forth; listen to it then:
Those to whom youpray, apart from God, will not create[even] a fly, eventhough they cooperated altogether for it.
And if the flyshould snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to rescue itfrom the [fly.]
Weak, indeed, are [both] those who pray and those to whom theypray
