(In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.)
The explanation:
God- be exalted-said in the Quran 27: 76
The explanation:
(Truly, this Quran informs the children of Israel about most of that wherein they are at variance [ from the truth.])
And He said-be exalted- in the Quran 2: 40
The explanation:
(O children of Israel, remember my grace which I have bestowed on you; and fulfill your covenant; and fear me.)
i.e. (and believe in that which I reveal ) to Mohammed ,
i.e. (confirming what you already have [of the scripture ] ): concerning monotheism and abandoning idols .
i.e. (and be not the first to disbelieve in it.)
i.e.( and do not barter My signs for a little price) of the objects of the World.
(and guard yourselves against [ the punishment of] Me) that is by warding off the disobedience of God.
The explanation:
( Confound not the truth with falsehood, nor hide the truth ) [ about the description of Mohammed which was mentioned in the “ Torah collection”] ; (the while you know ) his truthfulness.
i.e. (Be steadfast in prayer) together with the Muslims.
i.e. (and give alms) to the poor and needy,
i.e.( and bow down with those [ Muslims ] who bow.)
i.e. (Will you order men to do piety and forget [ about ] yourselves? And you are readers of the Scripture! Do you then not understand?)
i.e.( O Children of Israel! Remember My favor wherewith I favored you) in the past,
i.e. (and how I favored you over [all] nations) in the past, i.e. I gave you favors of wealth and children more than that I gave to the rest of people.
The explanation:
(And guard yourselves against [ the torment of ] a day when no soul will avail another anything, nor will intercession be accepted for it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be helped.)
The explanation:
(And [ remember] when We did save you from Pharaoh’s folk, who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, slaughtering your sons and letting your women live; in that was a great trial from your Lord.)
The explanation:
(And when We parted the sea for you [and led you through]; so We saved you and drowned Pharaoh’s folk while you looked on.)
The explanation:
(And remember We appointed forty nights for Moses, and in his absence you took the calf [for worship], and [ by doing so] you did wrong[ yourselves.] )
The explanation:
(Then, [ even] after that, We pardoned you in order that you might be grateful.)
The explanation:( And when you said[ to Moses], “O Moses, we will not believe in you until we see God manifestly”; and the thunderbolt seized you while you yet looked on.)
The explanation:
(Then We raised you [alive again] after your death; that you might give thanks.)
