The guidance is up to God

God guides whom He pleases, and misguides whom He wills

The explanation:

The one deserving guidance : being kind-hearted, modest, cooperative with people, helps the poor, the widow and the weak, etc --> this one God will guide to know Him that He is One without associate or son or equal --> to admit him to Paradise in the afterlife

The one deserving misguidance: being a wrong-doer: he wrongs people, transgresses on their rights, and is proud over orphans, widows and the poor; and he is a hard-hearted etc --> this one God will misguide, and will not respond whatever proof and truth he may see.

So when the apostle (like Moses, Jesus or Mohammed) comes to people, he conveys to them the message from his Lord: the Creator the One without associate or son or equal--> he explains to them and they divide into two parties:

those who deserve the guidance will respond and believe;

and those who desreve the misguidace will disobey him and follow the suggestion of Satan and the devils so they will keep to their atheism and idolatry --> so they will go to Hell in the afterlife

How man believes

When God wants to guide a man who deserves the guidance as I have explained in the previous post, He orders His angels to inspire that man that : God is One without associate, equal or son, and He is the Patron and he should obey the apostle Mohammed, and they keep up telling and talking to him (while he is unaware), until he is convinced and he will convert.

The angels speaks to him by inspiration and God makes him understand the guidance; no one may believe without God's leave and permission.

As in the Quran 10: 100
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تُؤْمِنَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَجْعَلُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ

(It is not for any soul to believe save by God's leave; and He lays [psychological] illness on those who do not think.)

The way of thinking one by one or together with only one friend

To find the truth, aim at this purpose by thinking by yourself alone or together with only one of your friends, not more.

The thinking may be confused by more than two men.

(Say: "I only advise you to one [point]: to be concerned about [discerning the religion of] God;

[and to go for this purpose] two by two and one by one,

then to think [and realize] that there is no madness in your man [: Mohammed];

he is only a warner to you [of a punishment] by the hands [of angels] of severe chastisement. )
