The religion of the Islam is a religion of mosques, not a religion of graves.

The graves in the Quran is mentioned for dispersion and destruction not for sanctification.

Why sanctifying the graves of the righteous is not allowed

The construction of the grave will lead to its glorification and then worshipping the grave of that saint or imam; because people will visit that grave then ask of him their needs, and vow for him and swear by him
--> and this leads to sanctifying that righteous man with God in the worship and glorification

Building the Graves Is a Sin, and Sanctifying Them Is a Kind of Associating Them with God
