The similarity between the human and the genie

The Christian genie who converted .. they searched about the truth until they found it

They thought there would be no messenger following Jesus, until they heard the Quran; when they heard it they believed

They had been monotheists at that time even before hearing the Quran, so they believed on hearing it

These converting genie went back to their folk so as to warn them of the idolatry and to invite them to the new religion: the Islam

The soora of the genie: it explains a lot: and tells us the similarity between the creed of the genie and the human; it consists of only a little number of ayat: and yet of great value and implication

About the genie: their bodies are created from gases; the human body is
created from mud
but the soul of both of them is created from the ether

.. this does not mean to worship or to follow the genie .. on the contrary many of the genie are misguided and they misguide people .. they do not know the fore-future, they don't know much of medicine or other disciplines of knowledge

[many people being wrong, they consult the genie, ask them about the fore-future or think they know the cure of some incurable diseases .. while all this is not correct];

so don't rely on or trust the genie .. but rely on God Most Gracious and Most Merciful.

So these genies were Christians; they thought that there will be no messenger after Jesus:

Quran 72: 7, which means:
And indeed they [man-kind] supposed, even as did you [genie-kind] suppose, that God would not send anyone [after Jesus to guide people to the way of the truth.]' h

7 h i.e. they supposed that God would not send any apostle or messenger after Jesus.

As such do some Muslim sects suppose that God will not send any guide, after Mohammed, to guide strayers to the way of the truth; that is the Mahdi, as was he called by the Prophet [and the Comforter as had been called by Jesus.]
