Tornados are uncommon in Poland.
Anyhow on 14 July 2012 a destructive tornado hit some parts of Poland, killing one person who died after his house collapsed on him, and the tornado also left 10 other people wounded. Moreover, the tornado destroyed hundreds of houses and cut some electric lines. The storm was one kilometer wide and lead to the cutting of a large number of trees in a forest important for tourism.
