Indications of life on Mars:
>>There is water on Mars; there are two icecaps on the two poles; with variation in winter and summer, in addition to the ice present on the tops of the high mountains of Mars, like that on Earth.
>>There are clouds moved by the wind, like that on Earth.
>>Its atmosphere is clear, not like that of Venus (turbid and full of smoke), and not like Mercury that lost most of its atmosphere.
>> The distribution of the temperature on the surface of Mars is somewhat similar to that on Earth with its variation according to the particular region of the planet, with succession of day and night.

Some comments:
>> They have been misguided as to the proper place for their search: they searched in the desert region, and in some other desolate region. While if they search in the temperate regions, they may find people, animals and plants.
>> In case there are two frozen poles, where does the large amount of snow, which melts in spring and summer time, go? There must be seas and rivers.
>> This large planet with all these features, and with its two moons, is certainly full of living beings: people, (and genies), animals and plants, and is suitable for living of the people of Earth (may be with some modifications.)

Americans have been misguided as to the proper place for their search: they searched in the desert region, and in some other desolate region of Mars. While if they search in the temperate regions, they may find people, animals and plants.

God – be exalted – said in the Quran 42: 32-34 concerning ships and how they lost their way in the vast sea, and may then perish:

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ الْجَوَارِ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ . إِن يَشَأْ يُسْكِنِ الرِّيحَ فَيَظْلَلْنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ . أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ . وَيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ

The explanation:
(And of His signs are [ships] that sail on the sea like 'high indicative marks'. [like the lighthouse on a mountain]

If He wills, He stills the wind, and the [ships] remain motionless on the [sea] surface. Surely in that are [indicative] signs for every steadfast and grateful [man.]

Or [God] makes the [ships] get lost because of [the sins] that the [crew and passengers] have earned, but even He pardons much [of their sins, and postpones their punishment.]

And that those who dispute about Our revelations may know they have no escape [from the sea save by God's will.] )

Russians had been misguided before, because they were atheists, and they chose to explore Venus rather than Mars, and their efforts turned useless. Their astronaut had just circled around the earth in his capsule and they said he had not seen God.

Americans had a better chance and were more fortunate; because they are Christians, and not all of them are atheists; a large number of them believe in God – be glorified – the Almighty and Most Gracious Who gave them more success, and they went and landed on Moon, and the American glorified God at his first step on Moon.

Then Americans chose to go to Mars rather than Venus, and so they were fortunate and successful. But because of their association with God and their enthusiasm about Jesus: the righteous servant of God, they have been misguided in their efforts to find life on Mars, while it does obviously exist, but till now they have not found any indication of life there, and this is a miracle of God that He confounded them and blinded them to this.


In case they go to the mountains of Mars, specially the large chains, not the sporadic isolated mountains, they may find there water springs, streams or rivers in the valleys inbetween such mountains; but of course the plain land (almost it was some deserts) will be easier for their rovers to move there, and for their table (Phoenix) to land safely upon.

ِِA predicted meeting with the people of Mars
The Quran foretells a future meeting with the people of Mars and the other planets

Mars is inhabited: there are people on Mars: the Martians, in addition to animals, plants, rivers, seas, mountains like that on Earth. This is in spite of the fact that Astronomers have not reached to certain knowledge about life on Mars, but they will discover it at near time, by God's will.


This is according to the Quran 42: 29

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِن دَابَّةٍ وَهُوَ عَلَى جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاء قَدِيرٌ

The explanation:

(And [one] of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and what He has spread abroad therein of beasts [: moving creatures]; and He is All-Able to gather them if He wills.)

Meeting with the people of Mars



There is water on Mars; there are two poles with ice; there are Cirrus clouds, in the atmosphere of Mars, with feather-like formations composed mainly of ice crystals; like that on Earth.

Opportunity turned its rover eyes skyward to observe clouds drifting overhead that look like cirrus clouds on Earth -- featherlike formations composed mostly of ice crystals.


By looking at the clouds, Opportunity learns about seasonal and daily weather patterns on Mars. Scientists want to understand how water vapor is transported around the planet. For example, on the extremely cold red planet, surface ice warmed by sunlight can briefly turn to vapor that rises into the atmosphere and then quickly cools to form ice crystals again, either in clouds or back on the ground. Scientists also estimate wind speed and direction based on the movement of the clouds. It definitely gives you the sense of what it might feel like to sit back and watch clouds on Mars."



There is life on Mars; and they will find people there (may be a different human race or very similar to our four races.)

The water is the indication of the existence of life: whenever water exists, then life does also exist.

As God – be glorified – said in the Quran 21: 30

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاء كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ

The explanation:
(and We made – of water – every living thing)


The Quran foretells a future meeting with the people of Mars; although the existence of such people of Mars has not been discovered yet.

The forms of water that the astronomers discovered on Mars
1- Ice water found at the two poles of Mars.
2- fog.
3- clouds drifted by wind at some altitude of the Mars atmosphere
4- drops dribbling down that have been found at the leg of the Phoenix lander.
5- water streams changing according to the season: from summer to winter.
6- the ice on the tops of some high mountains of Mars.

This time they will almost find people on Mars

Curiosity has just gone to Mars.

This time they chose a place more suitable than the previous sites of landing.
It is the Gale Crater: it has a mountain in its middle about 5 km high.

The previous landings were either in the desert of Mars or in the deserted regions near the pole. That is because they were afraid lest their rover should be destroyed on the rocks of the mountains.

Now they will land at the periphery of this region, then they will proceed towards the central mountainous region.

They discovered there is now flowing water on Mars, and while the high mountains of Mars are covered by ice on their tops, so the water - like on Earth - will percolate in the ground to spring in the mountain slopes and the valleys below, and there the villages, people, birds, animals and plants.

Therefore, we - depending on the interpretation of the Quran by the late interpreter of the Quran and the Bible: Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly; we anticipate a meeting with the people of Mars, sooner or later.

The religion of Mars people

God - be glorified - let man have the free will to choose whatever he likes of doctrines: i.e. He explained to them the correct way, but did not oblige them to follow this correct way: He let them choose:

if they choose the correct way of the right guidance --> He will reward them;

but if they choose to be ungrateful and blaspheme --> He will punish them.

So I expect the same as with our people on Earth: the same will be for the people of Mars and the planets: you will find it in this way:

God sends them His envoys: the apostles out of themselves: He chooses some of them and reveal to them His instructions and they will tell their people the Commandments of God.

Then people will respond in different ways: some of them will believe, and the others will disbelieve: i.e.

>> God will guide the kind-hearted men to believe so they will prosper in the afterlife,

>> and He will misguide the wicked and wrong-doers so they will be punished in the afterlife.

Therefore, on Mars: people knows God the Creator, but will call Him by other names,

and they have their own apostles and prophets, but they do not know about our apostles: Moses, Jesus and Mohammed.

So, the discovery of people on Mars will refute the enthusiasm about Moses, Jesus, Mohammed and others when people will discover that the inhabitants of the planets know God but do not know our apostles.
