سبحان الله الخالق العظيم فعلا هذا النوع أغرب ليمون فى العالم يسمى ليمون يد بوذا , فهو رغم خلوه من العصير و اللب إلا أنه يستعمل لأغراض عديدة فالناس في الصين و اليابان مثلا يستعملونه كمعطر طبيعي للجو في البيوت , نظرا لرائحته القوية و المنعشة , وكذلك يستعمل في صناعة الحلويات و المربى و يستخدم في مستحضرات التجميل و غيرها من الإستخدامات الأخرى
